Founders

Our founders, Tom Ferrara and Dave Flack , were pioneers in shifting the industry’s focus from lead quantity to lead quality, championing schools' rights to transparent marketing practices. In 2003, they launched CUnet, empowering schools to take control of their online marketing with a lead management system built on accountability, compliance, and performance—principles that soon set the industry standard.

After leaving CUnet in 2008 (acquired by NYSE: NNI), Tom and David continued to advance this mission, founding Edufficient in 2012, which became a large digital advertising agency serving some of the largest brands known for their commitment to compliant, high-quality lead generation. Edufficient was acquired by PX in 2022.  Recognizing the need for ongoing innovation, they created Trulixa in 2024 to help companies navigate the evolving landscape of performance marketing, best practices, and compliance.
